These are the five pillars that form the foundation of the Menarini Group, an Italian pharmaceutical company with more than 135 years of history. Founded in 1886 in Naples under the name Farmacia Internazionale, in 1915 Menarini moved to Florence, where the Group’s headquarters are still located today. The Menarini Group is present in 140 countries around the world and, through its companies, has a geographic presence ranging from Europe to Asia, from Africa to the Middle East, and even as far as Central America and the United States where, thanks to the recent acquisition of the biopharmaceutical company Stemline Therapeutics, the Group has marked its entry into the American oncology market. Thanks to the invaluable contribution of more than 17,000 employees, more than 500 million drug packages are produced each year in the Group’s 18 production facilities, which also include a biotechnology site for the production of monoclonal antibodies. |
